Sharp H3-00 error code
Fuser overheating
Sharp H3-00 usually indicates fuser overheating: the measured temperature exceeds the permitted level. The printer stops for safety.
What does this error mean?
Sharp codes beginning with H cover fuser temperature faults. H3 indicates a high temperature; the thermistor or heating control may be responsible. On many Sharp printers, H codes remain stored after the fault has been resolved and must be cleared by a technician.
What can you safely try?
- 01Switch the printer off at the main power switch, wait at least 10 minutes for the fuser to cool down, then switch it back on. Many error codes are temporary and disappear after a full power cycle.
When should you call a technician?
Stop using the printer and call a technician: overheating is a safety risk, and clearing the code typically also requires service mode.
Do you rent out or manage printers?
If you manage the printer at a customer’s site, you can record the fault on site in PrinterMS using QR issue reporting, and any parts used are automatically added to its service history. See printer fleet management.
